The Tuesday Morning Book Club at Cole Library will have its next meeting Nov. 16 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The group will be meeting in Room 108 at the Library, which is the large meeting room on the First Floor.
You can email Sherene Player at [email protected] if you have any questions. All are welcome to join the Book Club.
The group is starting to gather suggestions for its 2022 schedule of books. Attendees are encouraged to bring lists of potential titles to this meeting.
At the November Meeting, the group will be reading and discussing the book Watchers by Dean Koontz. Jeanne Muellerleile will lead the discussion.
The Good Reads website provides this brief summary of the book: “From a top secret government laboratory come two genetically altered life forms. One is a magnificent dog of astonishing intelligence. The other, a hybrid monster of a brutally violent nature. And both are on the loose.
“Bestselling author Dean Koontz presents his most terrifying, dramatic, and moving novel. Watchers is the explosive story of a man and a woman, caught in a relentless storm of mankind’s darkest creation.”
