Betty Ann Caspers, 76, of Minnesota, formerly of Lisbon/Mt. Vernon, passed away Oct. 6, 2021 in her care facility in Remer, Minn. She will be laid to rest near her son, Tony, in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
Betty was born Feb. 20, 1945 to Ralph and Hilda Streets in Cedar Rapids. She had one sister, Carol Kleineck, who passed away in 2019, whom she lived with in Crosslake, Minn. until she entered care facilities several years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Bud) Carney of Marion and Jan (Dave) Hudson of Lisbon; grandchildren, Shawna (Matt) Leonard of Marion, Dustin (Brianna) McAfee of Marion, Blake (Kathleen) McAfee of Ettrick, Wisc., Joeby Leonard of Springville, Thad Hudson of Lisbon, Clay (Jayeden) Hudson of Lisbon (at school in Dubuque), Logan Carney of Marion and Tawnie Hudson of Lisbon (at school in Davenport); great-grandchildren, Avery, Carver, Evangeline and soon-to-be, Grace; ex-husband, Paul Casters (Mabel) of Springville and many nieces, nephews, and their children.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony, and sister, Carol.
She will be greatly missed by all…
