Correction
In the afghan donated to local Alzheimer’s support group story in the Sept. 9 Sun, the wrong person was identified in the article and photo. Tina Gossman is the representative for the Alzheimer’s Association of Iowa Chapter. The Sun apologizes for the error.
Clarification
In the Run for Pies event, only the All Saints Catholic Church was recognized. The run is a joint event of multiple churches. Those additional churches that are a part of the Run for Pies are Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Saint Mary Catholic Church in Vinton, Saint Mary Catholic Church in Urbana and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Walker.
