Cornell senior middle blocker Allison Eikenberry and senior setter Danielle Amonica have been named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District Volleyball Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Eikenberry and Amonica were among 10 players chosen to the NCAA Division III First Team in District 8. The pool of nominees is comprised of 21 states, in addition to Canada.
Eight of the district’s honorees carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.90, including Eikenberry (4.00) and Amonica (3.92).
This is the fourth consecutive year Coach Jeff Meeker’s volleyball program has claimed an academic all-district performer. Eikenberry gained the distinction for the second year in a row.
