Noah Joseph Dahlstrom and Ariel Christine Smale were united in marriage Dec. 31, 2020, at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Gardens in Des Moines. A 2022 reception is planned. The Rev. Asher Smale, father of the bride, was the officiant.
Ariel is the daughter of Asher and Wendy Smale of Winfield. She is a 2015 graduate of Brindlee Mountain High School, Guntersville, Ala. She is a 2020 graduate of Iowa Wesleyan University in Mount Pleasant. Ariel is employed as a physical education teacher at the Kenwood Leadership Academy in Cedar Rapids.
Noah is the son of Shane “Blue” and Twyla Dahlstrom of Mount Vernon. He is a 2014 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and a 2018 graduate of Wartburg College. He is employed as an engineer by Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids. The couple resides in Marion.
