Mount Vernon School District voters re-elected incumbents in Tuesday's election, based on unofficial results from Linn County.

Re-elected to four-year terms on the seven-member board are Lori Merlak (542 votes), Rick Elliott (528) and Sherry Grunder (456). Jeremy Kunz had 369 votes; Ryan Williams 363.

Turnout was about 18 percent.

There was a write-in campaign mounted through social media in the final days before the election. Write-ins totaled 173.

In the Lisbon School District, incumbents Allan Mallie and Dave Prasil were the only candidates for two, four-year terms on the five-member board. Mallie had 69 votes, Prasil 67, and there were six write-ins.

Turnout was about three percent.
