District representation by far most popular plan in Linn Co.

The Linn County Supervisors will each represent a district in which they live based on the results of the election Aug. 1. Voters overwhelmingly supported Plan 3, which divides the county into three similarly sized districts based on population. Each will be represented by a supervisor elected by people in the district. The plan received more than 70 percent of the votes countywide, and more than 80 percent in the Mount Vernon and Lisbon districts.
